Bird flu: FAFO is the best course of action? I think not.

It appears that the official governmental policy regarding avian flu is FAFO. RFK, Jr. (Captain IDK) has suggested that the best course of action is to let the disease run rampant, and then scientists would know which birds are immune.

UM. No.

Chickens and turkeys don't have the gene to be immune. And every infected bird is another chance for the virus to mutate. And now people can get it, too. And cats. And cows.

We need a saner policy in place. Here we go: another pandemic exacerbated by ignorance and politics.

Shaking my head til my brain rattles.
